Shiraz Luna McLaren Vale

Winemaking notes:

97% Shiraz, 3% Barbera Oldest vines planted 1973, with Heritage and SAVI1127 clones mostly on their own rootstock. Grapes harvested at optimum flavor and ripeness, then destemmed to fermenters to maximise whole berries for fresh fruit flavors and to maintain soft tannins. The Barbera component was treated similarly to the Shiraz, except that it had 10 days on skins and was matured in older barrels.
