Etienne Seignovert is a young winemaker from Ardèche , located in Saint-Barthélemy-Le-Plain in the Doux valley , not far from Tain l'Hermitage . He comes from a family of restauranteurs , but decided to learn making wine . He's done practical training in the vineyards and cellar with several wineries , like Domaine Gouffier in Burgundy , Mas des Agrunelles and Château Revelette in South of France . Then he finally settled at the old family farm , producing his first vintage in 2020 . Etienne's idea is to build polyculture and agroforestry since the plot is surrounded by trees and hedges and is perfect to promote biodiversity .
