This is the first wine from the UNESCO World Heritage-shortlisted Primosten vineyards. Grapes come from many different plots in the hills surrounding the town of Primosten at an altitude of up to 300 meters. It is an equivalent to a village level wine. The 50-year-old vines are bush-trained in order to protect the fruit from both wind and sun exposure. The rugged terrain and shape of the vines don't allow mechanization, thus all the vines are manually farmed and are sprayed (only organic) only once a year.

Fermentation is done in large open casks with 4 days of skin maceration. Wine is then racked once and is matured in fiberglass tanks, while a quarter of it goes into used oak barrels. The wine is then blended together and bottled without filtration or fining with minimal additions of sulfur (5mg added). The result is a pure expression of these historic vineyards and Primosten terroir.
